Here's a list of frequently asked questions, and of course, their answers!
If you are unsure of anything concerning Ocili, this should be the first place to visit.

 What does Ocili mean?

This is a question I get pretty often and here's the answer:
Ocili is a permutation of the Serbian world ocila (singular: ocilo) which are the C-like symbols on the Serbian coat of arms, and one of the oldest Serbian symbols, being present from the early medieval ages.



According to a theory, they are not originally Serbian, but Byzantine (stylized Greek letter B - beta), standing for:
"Basileus Basileon Basileuon Basileusin"
which was the slogan of Byzantine rulers, meaning:
"The King of kings rules over kings."
This could be understood in 2 ways:
1. A tribute to Jesus Christ as "The King of kings"
2. An exibition of the imperial power above other "less important" rulers.

We choose this name trying to compile style & tradition, which have become the trademark of Ocili.

How can I upload photos?

You can upload photos/images to PixOteka (the Ocili Gallery), and choose wheter to store them into public or your own albums. You can set your album to private and share the link and password with your friends and/or family.

To start uploading your photos go to pixoteka.ocili.com, from the user menu select Upload file, and select the images from your PC that you want to upload, or insert the URI/URL (web address) of an image that's already on the internet.

 

Once you've uploaded all the files, it's time to give them names, and place them into albums. You must set a name² and album¹ for the images, but you don't need to post the description, keywords³, Author⁴, and where the photo is taken (if it's a photo)⁵.



You can create multiple albums in your Member gallery which you can access clicking the button My gallery in the main menu.



To create/order/modify your own albums, click one of these buttons:


If you choose to create or order your albums you'll get a list that initially is empty, and you can add your albums by clicking the New button, or delete them by clicking Delete. When you create a new album, beneath will appear the name that should be edited. Once you've renamed it, click on save changes. Use the arrows to order the albums.
